Did you know? Psychologists say that homes with portraits of children and their families build a higher self esteem and a sense of belonging in the children that live there.

Bio
When did I know I was an Artist? Well, looking back now I would have to say when I was three. My first portrait was a couple of stick figures and a house I drew in crayon on my Grandma's wall. And there it "hung" for many years. I guess you can say my very first encouragement came from her. I won a few art awards in school...one award in particular was in 8th grade. We had to design album covers and mine was one with the Eagles on it. My art career ended there. Life's circumstances redirected my life and it was not until I was in my 30's did I start to draw and paint again. Since then I have taken several classes and workshops.
My favorite subjects to paint are people. I love the character and beauty I see in each person. Every person has a story to tell. I have been married for 25 years. I have three wonderful children, two beautiful daughter-in-laws, and three amazing grandchildren.  There is no better joy in the world than to see your children become loving and caring adults. As you can tell my family is my world. They are also the reason that I love to paint people.
